Fantasy pattern Ecu coin set, designed by Raphael Maklouf, and struck in 1992 for Coincraft, common obverse; Neptune and Europa flanking a global representation of Europa, with the twelve-star symbol of the European Community, EUROPE EUROPA UNITED KINGDOM incuse on a wide border around, various reverse designs, all dated 1992, for 1/10 Ecu (bronze, 18mm, Mayflower sailing left), 1/4 Ecu (bronze, 26mm, Palace of Westminster), 1/2 Ecu (copper-nickel, 19.5mm, crowned lion standing left), 1 Ecu (copper-nickel, 23mm, helmeted head of Britannia 3/4 right), 2 Ecu (copper-nickel, 29.5mm, draped and helmeted Britannia standing right, holding trident and resting on shield, lighthouse and ship at sea in background to left and right), 5 Ecu (copper-nickel, 38.1mm, the Three Graces representing the three kingdoms of Wales, England, and Scotland), and 10 Ecu (copper-nickel gilt, 31.1mm, St George & the dragon, after Bendetto Pistrucci), Bruce #X11 to X17, BUNCs, in original display card.
