DENMARK. Kingdom, Frederick IX (1947-1972), set of bronze 1 Øre (1960, 1962, 1963, 1964), together with 2 Øre (1960, 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966), (h) C.S., Copenhagen mint, mintmark heart, mintmaster Alfred Frederik Christiansen, moneyer Harald Salomon, KM846 and KM847. These coins were struck, but never released to circulation. They were sold in 10-coin sets by the Danish Mint in 1973, the 2 Øre coin dated 1963 being struck then and exclusively for this purpose. Approximately 100 000 sets were sold, and the entire remainder of the mintage melted.
